HOT SPRINGS -- Fashionable flappers, dapper men and possible gangsters and their molls were among the guests at Prohibition on Jan. 21. The event held at the Hamp Williams building is a fundraiser for the Junior Auxiliary of Hot Springs.

Junior Auxiliary of Hot Springs will hold its eighth annual charity gaming gala, Prohibition, presented by Hot Springs Pediatric Clinic and Titos Handmade Vodka, on Saturday.

The music of jazz singer Sylvia Stems set the mood as guests arrived to the Roaring '20s-theme Prohibition on Jan. 22. The event, a fundraiser for Hot Springs Junior Auxiliary, was held at the Hamp Williams Building.

HOT SPRINGS -- Partygoers will step back 100 years into a 1922 speakeasy Jan. 22 at Hot Springs Junior Auxiliary's fundraiser Prohibition where guys and dolls are invited to put on their glad rags and enjoy a night of eats, drinks and charity gambling.

Hayes Carll, along with opening act Travis Linville, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Rev Room. Admission is $25, standing-room only.
