The University of Prince Edward Island is offering its students compensation for the learning they missed out on while the faculty was on strike — but some students say the money is not enough.

Student engineers at UPEI took part in 30 community-based projects this year, including helping a young Mi'kmaq drummer make music and designing a better way to play bocce in a wheelchair.
