Weird week of AFL football. The road team won seven of nine games. The last winless team beat a previously unbeaten. Chicago, Orlando and San Jose all overcame 14-0 deficits against former af2 teams to win. Four winners failed to reach 50 points. The last two ArenaBowl champs are both 1-4. And Rod Windsor's back!

Seven of the eight playoff teams have been decided as well as two division titles. Three total teams clinched playoff berths, while two were eliminated. Jacksonville and Tampa Bay swapped places despite losing AFL all-time leading passer Aaron Garcia and Spokane's road until ArenaBowl XXIII will be at home. Spokane became the first team to win titles in the af2 and AFL in grand fashion by beating the most storied franchise, the Tampa Bay Storm, in Arena Football history in ArenaBowl XXIII. The historically dominant Orlando Predators found their way back on top last season, as they won their first division title since 2006 in a year where everything looked like it was going to go wrong.

The AFL sent out media ballots for the end of the season awards and All-Arena teams Sunday afternoon. After filling mine out, I wanted to share it with you and give you reasons why I feel each recipient should be named that specific award. In addition, I've included by All-Arena First and Second Teams. This is my ballot that I'm sending to the league after I post it here first.

ORLANDO -- They don't call it the War on I-4 for no reason. Saturday night might have marked the first time that the UFC made its way to Orlando, but perhaps the best fight of the night in the City Beautiful came out of the Orlando Predators. The Preds had to fight through just about everything that an AFL team could have to get through in a record-breaking 77-65 win over the Tampa Bay Storm.

And then there were four. The top two seeds in the National Conference advanced while the bottom two seeds in the American Conference won on the road. Milwaukee and Spokane are left in the National, while the league's greatest rivalry will meet for the eighth time in the postseason in the American side (Orlando and Tampa Bay).
