The White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) has announced members for two new task forces that will be focused on the development of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Sequestration (CCUS) in the U.S.

Tara K. Righetti, a professor at the University of Wyoming College of Law, has been chosen as the speaker for the 2023 Liskow Visiting Professor in Energy Law Lecture at LSU Law. The lecture, titled "Land & Regulatory Consequences of Carbon Sequestration Well Classifications," will focus on carbon capture and will take place on November 14 in the Robinson Courtroom.
