UVA Creative Music Ensemble, directed by Nicole Mitchell, will put on a special concert this Thursday evening. Creative Music Ensemble explores diverse expressions of music that utilizes improvisation in the form of avant garde jazz, blues, rock, pop and more.

On Sunday, Dec. 17, Asian Improv aRts Midwest, directed by multi-instrumentalist and media artist Tatsu Aoki, presents its "Taiko Legacy 20th Anniversary" concert at the Edlis Neeson Theater at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
