Shares of Tata Consultancy Services marginally declined in the morning trade on Friday, a day after the IT major announced that its chief Rajesh Gopinathan has put in his papers.

Rajesh Gopinathan said that he has not written his resume even after his college days. He said he hasn’t prepared a resume since he joined TCS 28 years ago and that TCS will continue to be an essential part of his life.

K Krithivasan, chief executive officer-designate of software services major TCS, today said the company doesn't have a culture of making radical strategic changes when it gets a new chief and sounded sanguine about doubling down on customer deliveries.

Krithivasan will go through a transition with Rajesh Gopinathan and will be appointed as the Managing Director & CEO in the next financial year.
