freedom. team fox coverage now reena ninan on the violence inside syria. what might new sanctions include. well, shep, the folks here won t say publicly. there is thought they are considering freezing the assets of ba share assad and family and restricting their ability to traf. several european countries including britain, france and germany want the u.n. security council to condemn syria. fox news security analyst k.t. mcfarland says that s a better route than the u.s. going it alone. not wait two or three weeks which is what they are talking about doing, sanctions now. go to the united nations, ask for condemnation of the syrian government. they are murdering their people and they are getting away with it. some experts say that sanctions might have an impact over the long term but they won t save lives in the next days or weeks, shepard. shepard: joe lieberman and others are calling for washington to actually help out the syrian opposition here. well, they are not talking,
