Team Pompano News Today

Joe Chindano Jr. enters each new season with one basic goal: to steadily improve his numbers from the previous year.

The Northfield/Pompano Driver's Challenge concluded on Wednesday (April 12) at MGM Northfield Park, with the home team easing away to victory after another successful night.

Team Northfield made their presence felt on Tuesday (April 11), taking a commanding lead heading into night two of the challenge with Team Pompano held in partnership with the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association.

David Miller will go back to Ohio as a visitor when he represents Team Pompano in this week’s two-day Northfield/Pompano Driver’s Challenge at MGM Northfield Park, but it won’t be the first time the Buckeye State native has been in that role.

There is a lot of anticipation and excitement ahead of the Northfield/Pompano Driver’s Challenge on Tuesday (April 11) in partnership with the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association.

While winter tends to hang on in Northeast Ohio, things will heat up on April 11 and 12 as four regulars who drove at Pompano Park and four drivers from MGM Northfield Park will take center stage in a charity event hosted in partnership with the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association.

Leading up to the final day of harness racing at Pompano Park, set for Easter Sunday, April 17, the local horsepeople and racetrack management are reflecting on the historic Florida oval.
