Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde, leading a staggering coup against Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, was spotted at a Guwahati temple this morning.

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has written to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, informing him of the trust vote due tomorrow. Mr Thackeray has challenged the decision in Supreme Court, which will hear it at 5 pm.

A rebel MLA from the Eknath Shinde camp today said the resignation of Uddhav Thackeray from the Chief Ministers post "is not a matter of joy for us".
