The Department of Commerce (DOC) and the Economic Development Administration (EDA) have launched the application process for the Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (Tech Hubs).
The consortium will compete with other consortia across the country to become one of 20 such organizations that will be recognized by the recently formed federal Tech Hubs Program.
The North Carolina Department of Commerce announced Tuesday the launch of two new initiatives and web pages that will help companies in the state potentially receive federal designation as Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs (Tech Hub) and for other federal investments enacted as part of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022.
The greater Lehigh Valley should be the home of a new “tech hub,” according to the region’s congressional representative. WDIY’s Sarit Laschinsky has more.
