Thyristor power module offers excellent heat dissipation
SanRex SCE110AB160 Thyristor Power Module, available now from Mouser, is a 110A, 1600V SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) module providing high di/dt tolerance and exceptional heat dissipation in a compact Techno Block transfer mould package. This compact, low-profile device also provides a high junction operating temperature up to 150C.
The device includes Techno Block package technology, combining transfer moulding with a structure that solders the chip directly with no use of wire bonding. This design allows improvements in long-term reliability and miniaturisation. The package also improves power cycle capacity three-times compared with conventional module packaging.
