Army signs contracts for emergency procurements; seeks 'quantum jump' in capabilities

The Indian army has contracted 49 schemes worth INR 76 billion ($1.01 billion) under its fourth round of emergency procurement, catering to capabilities ranging from drones to individual protective equipment.
