Fountain Valley will provide notice on development projects to property owners within a 1,000-foot radius. The city had been providing notice to those within 500 feet of a subject property.

Mike Thompson’s RV Super Stores says visibility of its business has been diminished by the 405 Freeway expansion. An ordinance approved on Tuesday would allow for a digital sign to be installed on the property.

Fountain Valley is set to have a universally accessible playground constructed at Fountain Valley Sports Park. The facility will be designed to foster inclusive play for people of all abilities.

The Fountain Valley City Council struck down an ordinance that would have allowed short-term rentals with restrictions. The panel also directed staff to prepare a total ban on short-term rentals.
