The Kirksville R-3 School District bond proposal that would increase security at local schools and finance an Education Center for Performing Arts, passed with almost 80 percent yes votes during the Municipal Election held on Tuesday, April 2. In other results, Angela Caraway and Nick Billington were re-elected to the Kirksville R-3 School District Board and Kirksville City Councilman John Gardner was re-elected to a seat on the city council.
