Purcellville Town Council takes action on remaining CARES Act funding
The Purcellville Town Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to approve a motion to allocate the towns remaining $500,000 federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) funding to the town police departments payroll. The town received a total of $1,783,864 in Coronavirus Relief Funds, which was based on population and was distributed by Loudoun County in two payments received in June and October.
