Some Saint John Police Force officers are beginning to wear body cameras to record their interactions with the public for accountability and evidence purposes.

Last July, the force announced it would spend $770,000 over five years to equip all front-line officers with cameras. The force is working with The Chapman Group, a strategic management consulting company, to develop the plan.
