Ebere said that while attempting to cry non-stop for a week, he experienced headaches, puffy eyes and a swollen face alongside going partially blind.

Nigeria has been on a roll with their world record attempts. 

CRYING often connects people, whether it's out of grief, love, or another strong emotion. Many have gone through such emotions involuntarily, but was there a man who voluntarily cried for a week continuously, going into temporary blindness?

Nigerian man, Tembu Ebere attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous crying session but suffered temporary blindness, a swollen face, and a severe headache due to the pressure and strain on his eyes and nerves. Guinness Book of World Records did not recognise his unofficial attempt either.
