Teri Dose News Today

Commissioners will be asked Tuesday to add three staff members to effort aimed at addressing increased overdoses.

Teri Dose, an Olmsted County social worker, responds to overdoses as part of a crisis outreach team as drug overdoses continue to increase.

New proposal for payments spread over 18 years would fund Olmsted County staff to reach out to people who have survived drug overdoses and find potential paths toward treatment.

The mission trip is the fifth undertaken by members of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, ELCA in Pine Island.

In the past week, the Rochester, Minnesota Police Department has given back and helped two locals in need in the Rochester area. One needed a new washing machine and one needed a new bike.
