regular testing program that allows kids to return to outdoor sports and then to classrooms safely. there are many ways we can do this. it just has to be a priority for us. when you look at summer camp almost by its nature it s a natural quarantine. you can test kids on the way in, you close the gates behind them, everyone stays until it s over. in some ways wouldn t a summer camp like this be almost safer than being out and about in the public? absolutely. so you re right. we re actually conflating day camps and overnight camps. so overnight camps are an incredible opportunity to make it completely normal. i mean the nba taught us this even before we had vaccines. they created the bubble, people tested in the public. the ones they had keeps people from violating the bubble which kids won t be able to do. so it s really disappointing

(Shutterstock) CONNECTICUT Those three new invasive species of ticks the bug scientists warned us about have begun to make their presence known in a big, ugly way. The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in New Haven is reporting established, and growing, populations of the Asian longhorned, lone star and Gulf Coast ticks rubbing spindly elbows with your garden variety versions throughout the state. Dr. Goudarz Molaei, a research scientist who also directs the CAES Tick Surveillance and Testing Program, is sounding the alarm, but we may be past the point where we can do anything to stop them.

A new testing site will open up in Ridgewood A Commons, community members will enter from the rear entrance of the building.  Community members getting tested will no longer be allowed to park in the Admissions lot, 15 minute parking spots in the Theater lot have been opened instead for people getting tested, wrote Bergman. Signs will be put up for community members to follow to the new location.
