The project has now reached a stage where it can send feed of violations real time to the police control room both at Thalghatpura station & shortly to a centralised command centre. The circle inspector of Thalaghattapura police limits Jagadish N collaborated with the residents to have the CCTV installed. He revealed to the residents that this initiative had helped in Hebbagodi and Ashok Nagar to reduce the traffic violation cases or even law and order cases.
On December 2, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), South, Shiva Prakash Devaraju, visited spots of two fatal accidents. The first accident happened on NICE Road and another in Ganigarapalya in Thalaghattapura traffic police station limits.
According to the data provided by the traffic police, in these six days, places like Banashankari, Thalaghattapura, and Jayanagar have had more violations compared to Madiwala or Mico Layout.
