THANE: The fate of upcoming foot-over-bridges in the city has sparked off a fresh round of clashes between two former allies in the Thane corporation after few Shiv Sena corporators stormed into the cabin of BJP group leader, Manohar Dumbre on Friday, protesting his claims that the projects were being executed for gaining political mileage.
Dumbre on Thursday, had questioned the construction of two FoB’s on Ghodbunder Road fearing they may have to be removed to accommodate the metro IV lines and also asked why a FoB was being built on Pokhran 1 when there were other vital works needed.
