Thailand's e-commerce landscape is entering the next stage where major e-marketplace players are introducing innovative features to woo customers instead of focusing on price wars, while social commerce is strengthening in a bid to capture buyers.

Thailand's e-marketplace landscape remains highly competitive, despite the planned closure tomorrow of JD Central -- the sector's third-largest player.

The battle between e-marketplaces Lazada and Shopee is heating up as they both launch new marketing campaigns to attract spending from online shoppers and capitalise on the growing sector.
