saw tonight was a highly politicized mission accomplished speech that was absent of the aircraft carrier and banner. you saw the facade of a president that wanted to get involved in the combat theater of operations in afghanistan. but that was not his comfort zone. when you look at this speech, the money line that the president used was that america we are going to start nation building at home. which is what he would like to have his focus on. this ended up being more of a campaign speech than a strategy speech for that combat theater of operations. sean: i asked senator mccain this. did you find it odd as i did that he didn t bring up general petraeus name? you are right. no talk about some of the incredible theater commanders that you have. general petraeus and maybe some of the other commanders. hat tip to the marines who have done an incredible job. that is why this speech was focused more on the president. you look at what has happened
