WARREN – Two men were arrested early today after police were called to a burglary in progress at a vacant home in the 900 block of Maryland Street NW.
A police report states two men were seen kicking at a rear door about 5 a.m.
Dispatchers told police flashlights could be seen shining inside. Officers met one of the intruders, identified in the report as Neal Green, 32, at the front door. The other man in the house, listed as Allan G. Bosak III, 28, of Euclid Boulevard, Liberty. Both were taken into custody.
Officers said one of the men had possession of three gold rings, and they noticed an open jewelry box in one of the home’s bedrooms, a police report states.

WARREN Two people were arrested on warrants after Warren police officers were called to a Westwood Street NW address Thursday night to investigate a disturbance involving guns.
A caller told a dispatcher an argument ensued among a group of people; two with guns were threathening the others at the home.
Four officers came to the home and two people came out, carrying the guns openly. The two cooperated with authorities, the report states.
Officers had to coax three others to come out, the report states.
Two of them, Crissy Lee Wortman, 39, and Jonah Mazzochi, 39, were arrested on active warrants from Warren Municipal Court. Wortman was being held without bond in a theft and endangering children case, while Mazzochi was wanted for a probation violation linked to a 2019 possession of a fentanyl-related compound conviction in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

WARREN A Warren woman was arraigned on two felonious assault charges and another count of endangering children for her part in a motor vehicle accident on Parkman Road NW Feb. 2 that turned into a fight.
Breeona Bishop, 24, of Willow Drive, Warren, had not guilty pleas entered into the record, according to the Warren Municipal Court website. Judge Thomas Gysegem ordered Bishop held without bond and set another hearing for 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
Bishop will remain in Trumbull County jail, where she has been since her arrest last Friday morning. The woman, according to police reports, was involved in a two-car accident the afternoon of Feb. 2 on Parkman Road NW. The accident apparently turned into road rage as groups of people were fighting in the street when officers arrived about 1:55 p.m., according to police reports.

WARREN A Niles man is out of jail despite pleading guilty to domestic violence, in a Howland case where a woman said she feared for her life.
Jordan Edelman, 202 Cassandra Drive, was arrested Dec. 28 on domestic violence and an unlawful restraint charge. The latter was dismissed Monday in Warren Municipal Court.
Edelman was sentenced by Judge Thomas Gysegem to three years of probation and ordered to have no contact with the victim, who also was involved in a similar incident that occurred last September in Niles.
The Niles city prosecutor said Tuesday there is a warrant for his arrest for probation violation and no similar offense within three years.
