HINGHAM – Town residents voted on Saturday to make Carol Falvey their first new town clerk in more than two decades. After 24 years, Town Clerk Eileen McCracken will retire and Falvey, a lawyer and former two-term member of the Hingham School Committee, will fill her role. The selectmens race is one of five competitive contests that will be decided on May 22 during the towns annual election, which was delayed this year. There are also four people running to become town clerk and races for a seat on the board of health, the board of assessors and the municipal light board.  Running to replace Power are Joe Kelly, Liz Klein and Michelle Larned.
