A father in Florida who allegedly killed his 16-year-old son Monday met with a judge Tuesday, and provided a false name, while claiming to own the NFL.

"He was just a stand-up, stellar young man. To have this worthless individual murder his son is inexplicable," Sheriff Grady Judd said of the victim.

Authorities arrested a 37-year-old Florida man Monday for allegedly murdering his teenage son with a saw, according to WPLG Local 10.

An investigation is underway in Polk County after authorities said a man killed his 16-year-old son Monday morning in Lake Wales.

A Florida father is behind bars for allegedly murdering his 16-year-old son. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the man used an angle grinder, describing the crime as "horrific."

Stephan Rodda, 37, has been charged with killing his16-year-old teenage son, though police have not released a motive for the horrific killing.
