Twenty-eight years after the first Martin Luther King, Jr. Remembrance in Wise, Monday’s remembrance carried a theme common in past events – personal responsibility.

WISE, Va--A rescheduled MLK remeberance march took place in Wise on Monday.The event, sponosred by UVA Wise, included a community dinner at Wise Baptist Church.

The University of Virginia’s College at Wise and the Town of Wise hosts its 28th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March and Remembrance Monday with a theme of personal responsibility.
