The hype may have died down for Meta's Twitter alternative. The honeymoon phase might be over for Meta's Threads. A recent study from a data analytics company revealed that the daily active user count (DAU) for Threads dropped by half a week after it was released despite its strong start.

Instagram has launched its new microblogging app, Threads, in 100 countries, including India. Similar to Twitter, Threads features short text posts with a maximum of 500 characters that can include links, photos, and videos of up to five minutes in length. The app doesnt include direct messaging.
