Three Razorbacks advanced to Eugene for the NCAA Championships during the first day of the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds held at John McDonnell Field on Wednesday. Arkansas currently has five athletes set to compete at the NCAA Championships in Eugene.

Three Razorbacks were honored by the Southeastern Conference today, as Amber Ramirez, Samara Spencer and Jersey Wolfenbarger all picked up their first postseason honors from the league office. Ramirez was named Second Team All-SEC, Samara Spencer was named the league’s Freshman of the Year, and Wolfenbarger was named to the All-Freshman team.

Azorback Etamar Bhastekar won the pole vault with a clearance of 17 feet, 0.75 inches and Kieran Taylor posted a runner-up time of 1 minute, 16.86 seconds in the 600m to highlight performances by Arkansas during the Wooo Pig Classic held in the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Arkansas finished fourth in the NCAA Cross Country Championships for the second consecutive meet, scoring 195 points on Saturday at the Apalachee Regional Park. Three Razorbacks – Amon Kemboi, Gilbert Boit, and Emmanuel Cheboson – placed among the top 20 to earn All-America accolades.
