As first reported by The South African website, South African businessman and retail giant Raymond Ackerman has died at the age of 92.

Those that say nothing in this world is free haven’t been participating in the Thursday Pick 5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway. For the past three weeks, the Pick 5 wager has been seeded with $10,000 and created the opportunity for winning players to come away with a 25 to 35 percent higher return.

Starting March 30 and running for at least four weeks, the Pick 5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway will be seeded with $10,000 each Thursday courtesy of the Standardbred Owners Association of New York. The $10,000 will in effect serve as a man-made carryover to provide a unique wagering opportunity for customers.
