May 9—ENID, Okla. — Five Enid student-athletes made their college commitments official Tuesday, May 9, 2023, by signing letters of intent during the spring signing day celebration.

Top storylines: Avoiding a COVID-19 pause may come down to luck, but navigating a season in which teams can expect games postponed or cancelled will be a key. With teams playing more regionally-based schedules, will new rivalries emerge?
Changes: The biggest change is the wearing of masks at all times. Athletes who competed in winter sports should have an easier time adjusting. For boys lacrosse players wearing helmets, keeping the mask from sliding down could prove difficult. It will be up to officials and coaches to help make sure masks are always worn properly.
