Shell sells stake in "largest" underdeveloped natural gas discovery offshore Norway to Equinor
Linnorm is estimated to contain around 25-30 Bcm of recoverable gas resources. As a comparison, this is more gas than remaining reserves in each of the producing fields Aasta Hansteen, Martin Linge, and Gina Krog.

Norway: Aker BP makes gas discovery near the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea
Aker BP, operator of production licence PL 261, has concluded the drilling of wildcat well 6507/2-6. The well, which was drilled about 7 kms west of the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea, encountered gas in several geological formations. The preliminary estimate of recoverable gas volume is between 25 and 80 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe).
