If we want to send the administration a message that we want them to care more about sports, we first need to show them that we, as a student body, actually care about sports.

Since arriving at Washington University in St. Louis in February, comfort dogs Bear and Brookie have made hundreds of human friends. Students cuddle the puppies after a tough exam, faculty rub their bellies on the way to class and department chairs invite them to staff meetings. Everyone wants to meet Bear and Brookie, which means everyone meets WUPD Officers Greg Casem and Jesse Siefert.

Student Union’s (SU) Constitutional Council determined that SU Treasury demonstrated political bias when representatives chose not to fund a speaker appeal from the Washington University College Republicans (WUCR), a violation of SU’s Constitution, in a unanimous opinion released on April 5.

The Cook County Board of Commissioners accepted recently the top six student-finalist flag redesigns for the next Cook County flag.

Six student-led designs have been chosen as finalists, whittled down from 23 semi-finalists, which were themselves plucked from the nearly 300 original submissions. Each semi-finalist was assigned a design mentor to help hone their idea.
