The Offshore Wind Industry Council reveals the potential of boosting the UK economy by £92bn through expanding its offshore wind supply chain, according to a new report.

Green groups have criticised the UK Government for failing to award any funding in the latest Contracts for Difference (CfD) auctions to offshore wind, warning that policymakers should be doing more to respond to supply chain challenges to accelerate renewables.

The Government has confirmed a record number of clean energy projects receiving funding, but questions arise over the absence of offshore wind and overall project capacity.
