Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will usher in a theatrical homecoming celebration, with its dazzling return to indoor theatrical performances starting in February. The 2022 season features seven spectacular productions across Oklahoma City – at the beloved Plaza Theatre, majestic Civic Center Music Hall, historic Harn Homestead and the acclaimed, new First Americans Museum.

Performances are set for 7 p.m. Dec. 16 through Dec. 18, and there will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Dec. 19. In addition, a special streaming format will be available Christmas Eve through Christmas Day.

When TheatreSquared carries on its tradition of presenting the Amy Herzberg- and Robert Ford-penned adaptation of Charles Dickens' holiday classic "A Christmas Carol" this year, the show will launch in a different world than it did in 2020: Northwest Arkansas is recording fewer covid-19 cases today than it did a year ago, allowing T2 to produce the show for live audiences, versus the streaming performances of the last holiday season.
