This year’s survey tallied 32.4 walleyes per net, up from the long-term average of 21 walleyes per net. In addition, the survey yielded an average of 10.8 walleyes in the “eater” size range of 15 to 20 inches, nearly double the average of 5.7 walleyes per net in that size range.
