Its once again that time for TubaChristmas! We are seeking all area tuba, baritone, and euphonium players —young and old — to participate in Reno TubaChristmas 2023. This year marks the 50th year of TubaChristmas performances, which started in 1974 at New York Citys Rockefeller Center Ice Rink.

The Capital City Community Band will present its annual Nevada Day concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, immediately following the parade, in the Capital Amphitheater in Carson City. The concert will feature a variety of music, from Broadway show tunes to marches and patriotic songs.
