The small Venango County village of Reno has been under a "Do Not Consume" water advisory since July 21.

Aqua Pennsylvania said the chemical is now far enough downstream that they only have to be in a heightened state of alert for another 1-2 days.

Quick actions from those in charge of a water treatment facility near a chemical spill along the Delaware River prevented the harmful toxins from entering the plant.
