Fatal shooting of two men in Mahtomedi ruled murder-suicide

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled a shooting that left two men dead outside a FedEx facility in Mahtomedi last month was a murder-suicide.
David Peterson killed Todd “Jimmy” Wilemon and then shot himself following an argument Feb. 1, according to officials.
Washington County sheriff's deputies responding the the FedEx parking lot found Wilemon, a 58-year-old Fulton, Mississippi man, was already dead. Peterson, a 49-year-old man from Blaine, was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he died.
Investigators say the two men were truck drivers and that Wilemon was involved in a relationship with Peterson's wife.

ST. PAUL -- Two men linked to one’s wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in Mahtomedi early Monday morning, Feb. 1.
Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were called to a FedEx facility on Long Lake Road around 2:30 a.m. Monday. They found two men in the parking lot, said Cmdr. Sara Halverson.
One man, Todd “Jimmy” Wilemon, 58, of Fulton, Miss., was already dead, she said.
After attempted lifesaving measures, the other man, David Peterson, 49, of Blaine, was taken by ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he later died, Halverson said.

A dispute over a woman ended with two men dead early Monday when one shot the other and then took his own life at a FedEx facility in Mahtomedi, according to a relative and the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The men, identified as David Peterson, 49, of Blaine, and Todd "Jimmy" Wilemon, 58, of Mississippi, were found outside of the Long Lake Road facility by sheriff's deputies called to the location about 2:26 a.m. Wilemon was dead, and Peterson was gravely wounded. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
