Two members of West Licking Joint Fire District were recently deployed to Florida to help communities in the aftermath of hurricane Ian.

Hebron Mayor James Layton said the agreement between Hebron and West Licking would be effective "the earliest possible date permitted by law."

Hebron council is considering their options for fire service in their community pending the dissolution of the Refugee-Canyon Joint Fire District.
