A lockout notice on the door is dated Feb. 19 and says the lease, which dates back to 1988, was terminated because of a default and repossessed the theater.

The Historic Inwood Theater Is Closed, at Least Temporarily
The theater opened in 1947, and was owned by Mark Cuban and Todd Waggoner from 2003 to 2018. After the pandemic, it was "struggling" to remain open.
