KAZINFORM Astana Opera will dedicate the Victory Day festive concert Zhenis Ani to this great holiday, as well as to the centenary of the outstanding singer, People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR and veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Professor Beken Zhilisbayev, who was born on this day. The musical evening will take place on May 9 at the Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall.
ASTANA. KAZINFORM The tour of Astana Opera’s soloists, choir and symphony orchestra to Almaty ended with thunderous applause. On December 8 and 10, excerpts from national and foreign operas, symphonic works, as well as Giuseppe Verdi’s monumental work Requiem were performed for the classical music connoisseurs of the southern capital under the baton of the Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin.
