The unbeaten Indiana Hoosiers have a huge challenge in its Big Ten opener on Saturday, taking on a Rutgers Scarlet Knights team that is very hard to beat at home in Jersey Mikes Arena. He says he looks ready to pitch in the World Series right now. Its a shame that his rehab start this week cant be here in St. Petersburg for Rays fans to see. It would have helped sell a few thousand extra tickets for sure.

In the past month and change, the Tampa Bay Rays have gained nine games on the New York Yankees, and are now just six games behind in the American League East. As the two rivals start a three-game series in St. Petersburg on Friday night, the question has to be asked: Can the Rays still win the division with just 33 games to go?
