Taipei, Oct. 22 (CNA) Taiwan Mobile Co. has became Taiwan's first telecom operator to receive 5G SA (standalone access) system certification from the National Communications Commission, which will enable it to provide advanced SA services.

In 2020 Nokia was named sole supplier for Taiwan Mobile's 5G network under a three-year deal. With SA 5G geared up to go, the operator is prepping for more advanced 5G services that target businesses and enterprise.
