THREE East Lancashire college students are celebrating after receiving medals at a national awards ceremony.

Movie producers have a lot to deal with: egos, budgets, Oscar voters.  But such obstacles pale, producer Robert Palumbo discovered, compared to the most daunting impediment of all: COVID. "You couldnt have worse conditions," said Palumbo, a Mendham resident, and executive producer of the short film "Matthew," about a teen who planned, but did not carry out, a school shooting.
