A planning application to turn the old Bank of Ireland building on 13 Castle Street, Enniscorthy into a casino has been submitted to Wexford County Council (WCC). The building, which was sold last year for an estimated €395,000, had been empty since Bank of Ireland vacated the premises more than a decade ago, however, there are now plans to turn the ground floor into “an amusement and entertainment centre”.
