German club TSV 1860 Munich have announced a pre-season friendly with Town on Wednesday, 18th July (KO 6.30pm).

Boss Roy Keane has confirmed that he will be taking his players away on a warm weather training camp during pre-season. TWTD reported last month that Keane was set to take the squad to Spain or Portugal to a resort such as the La Manga Football Centre as part of the squads preparations for 2009/10.

Town will face Belgian side Royal Antwerp in a pre-season friendly at their Bosuilstadion on a date yet to be confirmed. The match will be the Blues only game outside the UK this summer.

Town could be off to Belfast for one of their pre-season games, according to reports this afternoon. Boss Jim Magilton was keen to take the Blues back to his hometown a year ago, but ultimately no game took place.

Towns squad are off to Denmark today where they play two matches, the first against Thomas Gaardsøes old club AaB Aalborg on Tuesday.

New Blues boss Paul Hurst has confirmed that the squad will spend a week in Spain as part of their pre-season preparations.

Town will be going away to Cyprus in the week after the Liverpool match. The Blues had two free weekends with the Blackburn match being postponed and an FA Cup weekend.

The Blues will play a pre-season friendly with manager Roy Keanes hometown club Cork City. The date of the match is yet to be set, but it will be at some point during July.
