Toynamics UK and Ireland is continuing its growth plans for 2021 with two new appointments to the team as it welcomes Alison Whitfield to the firm and promotes Kate Mulliner.
Taking up new managerial roles within the outfit, the new appointments are a strong reflection of the positive growth the company has achieved in recent months and years, and is in alignment with the ongoing development plans for the business.
Whitfield (pictured above left) has joined the company as its new operations manager, while Mulliner (above right) has been promoted to the position of business development manager. Whitfield brings with her a wealth of experience having previously worked for Geodis Distribution on the Mattel account.

In its latest positioning for its ‘biggest year of growth to date,’ Toynamics UK and Ireland has tapped the award-winning communications agency, Playtime PR to strengthen its domestic marketing efforts.
The move follows the appointment of Emma Damerell as the company’s head of marketing only last month, with whom Playtime PR will work hand-in-hand to deliver new strategic PR support for both the Hape and Skip Hop brands.
The partnership will also work to support Toynamics’ UK plans for Nebulous Stars and Nanoblocks.
“We have very high hopes for the business in 2021 and Emma has been busy shaking up our marketing plans for the year to ensure we pull out all the stops,” said David Allan, MD, Toynamics UK and Ireland.

Toynamics UK and Ireland has appointed Emma Damerell as the head of marketing and Amy Sweetman as national account manager in a move to support what is set to be the “biggest year yet for Toynamics.”
Damerell (pictured right) brings with her experience with a major fashion retailer as well as previously working with a UK Toy distributor. She will be spearheading the marketing strategy across all of Toynamics portfolio.
Meanwhile, Sweetman (left) has previously worked with Tomy and will be focused on growing and developing Toynamics portfolio of national accounts.
