Francisco where theres been a stabbing at glide Memorial Church. Ktvus Tara Moriarty joins us live now from the scene in San Francisco good afternoon, tara. Reporter a glide Memorial Staff member was attacked inside the block. It happened around 10 00 a. M. The suspect ran off. They were later seen on a bus. Police detained them. When we first pulled up, there was an officer who led another staff member in the car for questioning. Probably getting some witness type of statements. We do know that the person who was attacked was stabbed in the shoulder. They were taken to San Francisco General Hospital and they are expected to survive. The Catholic Church accused of soaking people with water who were looking for shelter. Theyre accused of turning sprinklers on the homeless seeking refuge at the church. A lot of people are shocked by what was done and now the church is having a change of heart the Catholic Church does a lot of helping the needy and homeless, but that is not what people are talking about tonight if you look over my shoulder, you can see a dark spot inside is one of these sprinklers. Tonight the medical examiner has identified the woman shot and killed by San Francisco police after she was driving recklessly on a busy street. Two plain clothes officers were investigating reports of a stolen jet that at the the chevron station at van ness and pine street. They found the car identified themselves to the driver, 24yearold alice brown. Brown drove straight toward them. When she tried to get away, she hit a building went the wrong way down pine street.
