The ASUC Transfer Student Representative is just one avenue for transfer students to have a voice in the ASUC. This year, no ASUC Senators were transfer students, and one candidate

With the exception of the Transfer Student Representative, no transfer students were elected to senate or executive positions in the spring 2023 ASUC election cycle.

But despite all the debates, rebuttals and party politics, one thing remains certain: UC Berkeley needs nothing short of dependable, considerate, dedicated and tenacious leaders to navigate whatever lies ahead in the upcoming year.

Alexander Sanborn-Walker is running for ASUC Senate with Progressives at Cal on platforms of transfer student needs and protection of student services.

Rashno Razmkhah, a junior transfer student majoring in sociology, is running for ASUC Senate with the top endorsement from the Transfer Student Caucus. This semester, she has served as Chief of Staff intern to ASUC Senator Yasamin Hatefi.

Junior transfer student Ashley Tigue, majoring in bioengineering with a concentration in biomedical devices, has joined the running for ASUC Transfer Student Representative.
